Julie Chen Moonves hosted the popular reality TV show in the summer of Big Brother which returned to CBS for the 22nd season on the 5th of August. Chen Moonves had been one of The Talk's original hosts, hosting and moderating the talk show between 2010 and 2018. Her true love was when she added writing to her duties and won an Emmy for her work. Also, she was awarded an Emmy for hosting as well as an outstanding comedy talk show. The show was hosted by her co-hosts CBS News weekday morning show The Early Show between 2002 and 2010. Her prior roles included anchoring the CBS Morning News and The Early Show. After 9/11 She was taken to Cairo and located the main hijacker's father for an intense and eye-opening exclusive interview. Chen Moonves also reported for the Emmy-winning CBS Sunday Morning news show which featured celebrities such as Paula Abdul. Chen Moonves is also a CBS Sunday Morning reporter, who has interviewed stars like Jamie Lee Curtis. Before The Early Show she was a reporter with WDTN TV Dayton in Dayton the state of Ohio (1995-1997). Before joining CBS News, Chen Moonves worked as a reporter at WDTN-TV dayton (1995-1997). She also was a reporter for ABC NewsOne from 1992-1995. This was her first job in broadcasting as a Desk Assistant for ABC News' late-night show Nightline with Ted Koppel. Ted Koppel remains among the journalists she admires. Chen Moonves was Koppel's co-worker on Anatomy of a Riot (the Columbia du-Pont-winning Primetime Special that examined the Los Angeles riots of 1992).
